Many of you have been asking for clarification regarding an ongoing situation being reviewed by authorities in Franklin County, Georgia.
Earlier this evening, I spoke with the twin brother of the man at the center of the incident. He confirmed that the individual was 44-year-old Josh English. Just weeks away from celebrating his 45th birthday, Josh was discovered along Kesler Road in the Carnesville area.
Officials say that the circumstances leading up to what happened are still being carefully examined, and no final conclusions have been shared yet.
According to information released by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to Kesler Road on December 7 after receiving a call about a person seen lying near the roadside. When responders arrived, they located a man who was not showing signs of responsiveness.
Emergency crews quickly moved in to assist, but despite their efforts, they were unable to revive him. Investigators continue to gather details to determine what unfolded before he was found.
