Fayetteville Mourns Loss of Young Fort Bragg Soldier in Traffic Tragedy

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville community is grappling with the sudden loss of 20-year-old Aaron Isaiah Aguero, an active-duty soldier stationed at Fort Bragg, who passed away Friday afternoon following a serious traffic incident involving three vehicles.

According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the crash took place just before 1 p.m. on Yadkin Road. Aguero was traveling from Santa Fe Drive toward Lake Valley Drive when the collision occurred. Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene, but despite their efforts, Aguero could not be saved.
