19-Year-Old in Custody Following Investigation Into Man’s Death

Authorities have confirmed that 19-year-old Cam’ryn Croston voluntarily turned himself in on Wednesday in connection with the death of a man found at a local residence. Officials were initially called to the home on the 1600 block of St. Elmo for a welfare check.

 

Upon arrival, officers discovered the homeowner unresponsive and suffering from a fatal injury. The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Jake Young. Law enforcement officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing and are urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
